Quick Order from Denmark merges with We Order from Norway.

QuickOrder, an Odense, Denmark-based developer of a software as a service solution for the hospitality business, announced getting into a merger agreement with Norwegian competitor, WeOrder.

Financial details were not disclosed - post deal, the new company is valued at NOK 269 million ($31 million).

The combined entity is the largest player in the Nordic region, handling business for 1.200 restaurants.

QuickOrder, founded in 2014 by CEO Mads Wedderkopp, Lucas Sørensen, Thomas Egelund, Kasper Aagaard Thomsen and Andreas Aagaard Thomsen, developed a software solution that helps companies from the hospitality business with the cash register system - i.e. manage payroll, watch schedule, table booking, checkout and terminals.

Weorder, led by CEO Andy Chen, sells SAAS for restaurants, enabling their customers pay via a mobile application. The company produced sales of roughly NOK 30 million ($3.5M) from around 500 customers in 2020.
