Quickchannel secured funding from Blq Invest.
Quickchannel, a Stockholm, Sweden-based video platform company, announced that it completed a SEK 6.75M ($730k) capital investment round. The money was provided by the local investor from Sweden Blq Invest.
Quickchannel, founded in 1995 by Richard Zembron, was at that time developing customer specific solutions for clients such as IKEA, Ericsson and the Swedish Royal Navy. Today, led by CEO Viktor Hedström, the company built in their own advanced streaming platform which they sell as a service either directly or through resellers such as Telia.
Quickchannel has 15 employees based in Stockholm and Strängnäs and had sales of SEK 15 million ($1.6M) in 2019.
