Race.se secured angel funding of SEK 5 million.

Race.se, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company organizing virtual sports challenges, secured an angel round of SEK 5M ($540k).

The funding was provided by angel investors from Sweden including Daniel Tynell and Petter Eriksson.

Race.se, founded in 2016 by CEO Johan Jakobsson, Erik Sjöbeck and Nicklas Tingström, developed a platform available for users will to organize or just compete in virtual sports challenges. The platform hass been in use by 700 events organizers from 27 countries and expects to generate sales of SEK 5 million in 2019.
