Reshape Biotech to add $1 million from investors led by FundersClub.

Reshape Biotech, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based manufacturers of robots for microbiologists, announced the completion of a $1 million capital funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by the American early stage backers from Funders Club, joined by a range of angels including Mads Ingwar, CEO of the investment platform Kvasir Technologies, Martin Permin, CEO of the mentor platform Pelion, Nicholas Francis, co founder at Unity and Charlie Songhurst, former Head of Global Strategy at Microsoft.

Reshape Biotech, founded in 2018 by CEO Carl-Emil Grøn Christensen, Daniel Storgaard and Magnus Nyborg Madsen, builds lab robots that automate the everyday tasks of microbiologists, from filling plates to analyzing images.

Reshape Biotech was part of the European startups at Y Combinator in winter 2021.
