RFRSH is a brand new Danish e-sport agency founded by Nikolaj Nyholm and seeded by Sunstone and other angel investors.

RFRSH Entertainment is a brand new e-sports company founded by Nikolaj Nyholm in the fall of 2016 with EUR 4M in seed investment.

The backers are technology VC firm Sunstone Capital and angel investors Tommy Ahlers and Rene Rechtman.

Nikolaj Nyholm is a serial Danish entrepreneur, former employee of Sunstone - he resigned in summer of 2016.

RFRSH is an esports marketing and media rights company working with a growing number of the best esports teams - established organisations as well as a new crop of player-owned teams.

So far, the company represents four Counter Strike e-sports teams (Astralis, Godsent, Heroic, and Norse) which receive sports-related support, including access to a 600sqm training facility in Copenhagen, Denmark, with three “state of the art practice areas and a players lounge".

Besides the agency, RFRSH also intends to set up a 25M EUR fund that will directly make investments into the e-sport companies it represents.
