Rift Labs secured NOK 20 million from Karbon Invest

Rift Labs, an Vinterbro, Norway-based producer of LED software and intelligent lighting control systems, completed a NOK 20 million ($2.3M) capital raise.

The money was raised from local investors from Norway, led by Karbon Invest and joined by angel investors including Jan Haudemann-Andersen and Preben Rasch-Olsen.

Rift Labs, founded in 2010 by Morten Hjerde and CEO Halvard Aagaard, manufactures LED software and intelligent lighting control systems with a wide range of applications across not only the visible light spectrum, but also within the ultraviolet and infrared. The company provide highly efficient and environmentally friendly lighting solutions within a range of industries, including creative lights for photo & video, personal and protective equipment based on UV-C LED, and LED growth lights.
