Robin AI raised £2.5 million in a seed extension funding round with the SoftBank and Tom Blomfield.

Robin AI, a London, UK-based startup providing software for automatically reviewing legal documents, announced a seed extension round closed at £2.5 million ($3.3M).

The money was raised from Softbank and angel investor Tom Blomfield, the founder of Monzo, joined by existing shareholders Episode 1 and Forward Partners.

Robin AI, founded in 2019 and led by CEO Richard Robinson, developed a SAAS tool using machine learning and human intelligence to automate legal work in order to save time and costs by automatically reviewing and going through high volume legal contracts such as NDAs. Customers include legal firms Clifford Chance and Foot Antsey, PE funds like Hayfin and businesses like Pizza Hut and Babylon Health.

Robin AI initially closed its seed round at £1.8M in the summer of 2021.
