Rocambole raises € 350,000 from business angels.

Rocambole, a Paris, France-based media startup providing conetnt via a mobile app, announced that it raised € 350k ($413k)

The money will be used for growing the operations.

Rocambole, founded in 2019 by François Delporte, calls itself a “Netflix for books” as it specializes in publishing multi-genre literary series on mobile devices. The company provides readings by episodes whose reading time does not exceed 5 minutes, working with writers for creating original series and organize the storytelling so that each episode ends with a cliffhanger.

The app has about 15k users and a few hundred subscribers.
