SAAB spinoff, ReVive Energy from Sweden, raises 3.7M SEK in seed money

ReVibe Energy brings in capital and expands, as it has recently completed an investment round of 3.7 million crowns.

The investment round led by Almi Invest and Chalmers Invest, along with former partner SAAB Ventures, and three private investors.

ReVibe Energy's long-term goal is to provide a mobile power source converts vibrations into electricity with the aim to drive the sensor. The technique must replace the use of the more expensive and less sustainable alternatives that are primarily used today, such as cables and batteries.

"We are aiming to establish our solution as the primary option to power sensor systems worldwide in the environments where vibration exists, "said Victor Börjesson, co-founder and CEO of ReVibe Energy.

To convert the vibrations into electricity and create competitive alternatives to cables and batteries is a global trend and ReVibe Energy's technology has shown up very strong performance relative to peers.

"The results of our tests have shown up suggests that our technology is at the forefront of a global level. Now remains the exciting work to bring technology into industrial environments and demonstrate value for customers. "says Erik Godtman Kling, co-founder and COO of ReVibe Energy.

The investment round led by Almi Invest where Johan Falk, Investment Manager, has been responsible for the investment:

The capital will be used for expansion of the operational team to enabling parallel technology and business development.
