Sanity completed a $2.4M capital round from Heavybit Inc and Alliance Venture, moves to USA.
Sanity, an Oslo, Norway-based software company developing solutions based on an open source CMS construction kit, announced that it completed a $2.4M capital investment round.
The investment round was announced in conjunction to the company's moving to San Francisco, as part of the Heavybit accelerator.
The money was provided by Heavybit Inc and Alliance Venture, together with a group of angel investors from the developer community, including Jon Dahl (founder and CEO of Mux), and Ohad Eder-Pressman (CEO and co-founder of Stackbit and board member of Netlify).
Sanity, launched in 2017 by CEO Magnus K. Hillestad, Even Westvang, Simen Svale Skogsrud and Øyvind Rostad, developed a content management platform used for building websites and mobile apps, but also as a platform for content that is printed in books. The solution is in use by more than 100 paying organizations, including Cornerstone OnDemand, MIT, Condé Nast, Micro:bit, and Office for Metropolitan Architecture.
Prior to this announcement, Sanity raised $1.2M in 2018, from investors including Trond Riiber Knudsen, Bakken and Bæck, Andreas Thorsheim, Edvard Engesæth, Wilhelm Joys Andersen, Thomas C. Holst and Øyvind Grotmol.
