Sarbacane raised $27 million in a round led by IDI from France.
Sarbacane, a Hem (Lille), France, and New York, USA-based SAAS developer for corporate communications, announced that it raised $27M in capital investment.
The money was provided by the French investor IDI and included financial contributions from existing investor Ardian, the company's CEO Mathieu Tarnus and the management, under the leadership of founder. Post transaction Mathieu Tarnus remains the majority shareholder. According to the media, the deal values the company at $45M.
Sarbacane, founded in 2001, built a range of products around its expertise in email marketing, text messaging campaigns and marketing automation such as Mailify, Layout, Sarbacane Chat and Touchdown. The company has around 10000 customers, including Christian Dior, L’Occitane, Mondial Relay and Warner Music. Sarbacane has about a hundred employees in its offices from Lille and Barcelona.
Prior to this deal, in 2017, Sarbacane added Ardian as investors in the company.
