Satellio gets seed investment.

Satellio, a Helsinki, Finland-based space data company providing space data-based analysis and monitoring services, closed an undisclosed amount of investment funding from Icebreaker VC.

Satellio, founded in 2015 by Joni Norppa and Lauri Häme, built a technology based on the space data processing chains, automatic image scanning, and multi-source data merging. The main focus of the company is forestry and infrastructure as Satellio's services fits perfectly to this type of industries which extend to large areas.

At the same time, the company announced that Tuomas Rautajoki joins the Satellio team as an advisor, providing special expertise in the development of forestry business.
