Screach, a Newcastle, UK-based developer of a media app that allows venues to stream live sports events for their customers, announced that it raised $2 million.

The money was raised from several high net worth individuals along with Hotspur Capital and the British Business Bank's Future Fund.

Proceeds will be used as the company intends to launch its service overseas.

Screach (Screenreach), founded by CEO Robert Rawlinson, developed an app that allows leisure sites to stream live sports to their customers, as it aggregates all live sports content available in the user's home country into a single place, allowing bars, cafés, hotels and gyms to screen the event through the Screach smart TV app.

The app is now available to download in 157 countries.

Total investments received (USD): 3.45M
