Serendipity Professionals buys up Cruitway.

Cruitway, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company managing an online career marketplace, announced getting into an agreement with Serendipity Professionals, to sell the majority of the company's shares.

The financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed.

Founder Adrian Swartz retains ownership and remains as CEO of Cruitway and becomes partner in Serendipity Professionals and responsible for HR Tech initiatives.

Cruitway, founded in 2012, developed a digital platform that intermediates the process of job looking and job offering in Sweden.

In 2016, the company lost money, specifically SEK 1.2M, at a turnover of SEK 2.6M ($310k). Cruitway is a Springfield Project alumni, having raised about $600k in funding in August 2015.
