Shortcut acquired Dynamo from Combined Excellence
Dynamo, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing software development services, announced that it was acquired by the Norwegian software shop Shortcut AS.
Finacial details were not disclosed. The deal was made with existing owners - the Karlstad, Sweden-based Combined Excellence, which acquired Dynamo in 2018.
As part of the agreement, Combined Excellence and Shortcut have established a partnership that ensures that Shortcut's services will continue to be available to Combined Excellence's customers.
The acquisition will create a team of 150 developers for the Shortcut Group, one of the largest pure app company in the Nordic region. The Norwegians are based in offices from Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Bergen and Bucharest.
Dynamo was founded by CEO Mathias Plank, who later on went to focus on building another startup called Yabie (formerly Kaching).
