Sigmastocks raises SEK 8M

Sigmastocks, a Gothenburg, Sweden investment service startup, raised a SEK 8M ($900k) investment round. The investors include Lena Apler, Bo Mattson, Stena Finans, and Rytu Invest.

Sigmastocks, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Mai Thai, acts as middleman and eliminates investment fees by providing a robo-advising service based on fundamental analysis. Customers can optimize their own stock portfolios and receive distributions for what stocks to buy prior to each investment.

Prior to this round, Sigmastocks received SEK 1.5M in seed money from Chalmers and 2 angel investors and another 1M as a loan from Almi.
