Skillbreak raises SEK 7 million
Skillbreak, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company operating a community marketplace for workshops, announced that it completed a SEK 7 million ($800k) capital raise.
The money was raised from local angels from Stockholm, including Mimmi Thorneus (Google) and Fredrik Posse (Soundtrap).
Skillbreak, founded in 2016 by Lina Johansson and Matilda Hannäs (CEO), built a community marketplace for people to list, discover, and book unique and local learning experiences. The platform matches creators in design, art and crafts with people who want to learn new skills. The experts share their skills in their own homes, studios and workshops and they get tools to make money from their skills.
Skillbreak previously secured a capital round from Wellstreet, Saminvest and angel investors in 2019.
