Smallworld Systems AS acquired Breakoutimage from Denmark
Smallworld Systems AS, an Oslo, Norway-based software solution reseller, announced that it entered into a amerger agreement with the Danish company breakoutimage
Financial details were not disclosed.
Smallworld Systems AS acquires 100% of the shares in breakoutimage A / S and thus creates a strong Nordic competence environment under one management for Smallworld GIS technology and applications.
With the acquisition, the new company will have a total of 20 employees working with customers within telecommunications, district heating and energy, and the company works primarily in Scandinavia.
Smallworld Systems was founded in 1992 and is owned by the employees.
Breakout image was founded in 1999.
The new company will be able to service the increasing internationalization of the Scandinavian customers across Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Iceland and via the existing good cooperation with Spatialworld OY in Finland, Finland and the Baltic countries will also be serviced.

Smallworld supports efficient planning, establishment, operation and development of simple local networks as well as nationwide and international networks and critical infrastructure of private and public companies.
