SmartRetur acquired the Sweden-based PSRS.

Smart Retur, an Oslo (Lysaker), Norway-based pallet distributor, announced that it has purchased the Swedish pallet company PSRS

The acquisition, which has the financial details undisclosed, encompasses the entire PSRS business which, when integrated with Smart Return's existing warehouse in Sweden, will be located in eleven locations.

The combined companies' annual sales in Sweden will amount to around SEK 200 million.

PSRS, founded in 2012 by Linus Näsström and Andreas Lagerbäck, consists of four collaborating companies in packaging management, from transport, warehousing and staffing to manufacturing and construction. They are called Pallservice Production Sweden, PSRS Resource, PSRS Sweden and PSRS Solutions.

Smart Retur, led by CEO Søren Eriksen, started in 2001 under the name Waba Europaller, changed its name in 2017 and has since developed rapidly in packaging handling in both Norway, Sweden and Denmark. At the same time, Smart Retur initiated a collaboration with the Swedish Return System, SRS. In Norway, we collaborate with Norsk Lastbærer Pool, NLP, which is the Norwegian grocery industry's equivalent of the Swedish Return System, SRS.
