Solita acquired the Swedish data consultancy Sparks.
Solita, a Helsinki, Finland-based technology, strategy and design company, announced that it acquired Sparks AB, a Swedish data consulting company.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Solita will acquire 100% of the shares, and Sparks will act as a subsidiary under its own name until 2020.
Sparks, founded in 2012 by Linda Borelius (CEO), Stefan Danermark, Björn Olofsson and Vilhelm Möllerberg, is a data consulting company whose core business is to increase customer success and competitiveness through data and analytics. The company, which has 20 employees, works with about 70 customers which generated sales of SK 32.2M ($3.3M) in 2018.
Solita, led by CEO Jari Niska, provides a range of services, including strategic consulting, service design, artificial intelligence, analytics, and managed cloud services. The company has 820 employees in Sweden, Finland and Estonia and works with customers including Assa Abloy, Amer Sports, Finnair, Fortum, Scania and Skanska.
