Sonans Gruppen was acquired by EMK

Sonans Gruppen, an Oslo, Norway-based provider of education and career training, announced that it was acquired by the British company EMK Capital.

The deal, which has the financial details undisclosed, was made with the current owners, Procuritas Partners.

Sonans Group, led by CEO Erik Brandt, provides educational services supporting individuals in pursuing their goals of attaining a college degree, and a career, in Norway. The Sonans Group consists of Sonans Education and Sonans Career.

Sonans Education approximately enrolls 8000 students every year, and Sonans Career has approximately 7500 students.
The students attend schools and courses in 12 of Norway’s counties.
