Soundboks raises $3M from a group of investors including Bang & Olufsen's former chief executive Tue Mantoni.

Soundboks, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company manufacturing soundspeakers announced raising $3M in investment funding.

The backers include Bang & Olufsen's former chief executive Tue Mantoni and Matthew Bellamy, the lead vocalist in the rock band Muse.

Soundboks was founded in 2015 and designs and manufactures hardware, selling the world's loudest battery powered speaker. The company is a Y Combinator alumni, being also backed by Jacob Thygesen, Peter Lyngdorf and Zillionize Angel.
