Spiff raises NOK 8.5M.

Spiff, an Oslo, Norway-based startup providing a savings mobile application, raised NOK 8.5M ($1M) in a new investment round. The backers include local angel investors Cathrine Feght and Jan Christian Opsahl.

Spiff, founded in 2015 by Steve Mellbye-Stølen and Carl-Nicolai Wessmann, developed an app that makes it social, easy and fun to save and invest for everyone, regardless of income.

Prior to this transaction, the company raised about $2M from investors including Founders Fund, Sverre Munck and Christian Solli Nyborg.
