Sponsoo closes Series A funding round with a total around 1.4 million euros.

Sponsoo, a Hamburg, Germany-based startup building a business around a marketplace for sports sponsorhips, announced completing a series A capital investment round.

The money was raised in time, with the total volume of all new investments since the last official round is around 1.4 million euros. Investors include German angel investors such as Andreas Mihalovits, Thorsten Mattig and Claas Nieraad, as well as the European Super Angels Club, the VR Bank Nord and the "Corona Recovery Fund" of the IFB Innovationsstarter Hamburg.

Sponsoo, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Andreas Kitzing, built a digital marketplace for sports sponsoring, supporting more than 10,000 athletes, clubs, sports events and associations, as well as more than 1,000 sponsors in the conclusion and management of sponsorships.
