StethoMe, a Poznań, Poland-based health manufacturing company closed a $2.5M financial round.

The money was raised from the British fund of Sebastian Kulczyk Manta Ray, the Polish-Israeli TDJ Pitango Ventures, RST Ventures For Earth and Movens VC as well as a private investor from Hong Kong.

The funds obtained will be allocated to the commercialization of the solution on the European market. AI algorithms and the StethoMe stethoscope are already present in France, Spain and Poland.

StethoMe, led by CEO Wojciech Radomski, developed a system that consists of an electronic stethoscope, a dedicated StethoMe application and AI algorithms. The solution allows for remote examination of the lungs and heart, and the AI ​​analysis provides an immediate result about any abnormalities detected in the respiratory system. This is the only solution of this type in the world. As research shows, StethoMe artificial intelligence algorithms are up to 29% more effective in detecting and classifying pathological sounds than pulmonologists.
