Steven raised $1.3M from new and existing investors.

Steven, a Stockholm, Sweden-based service operating a payment app, completed a new investment round totalling SEK 12M ($1.3M).

The money was provided by new and existing investors, including Swedish angel investor and former Swedish finance minister Anders Borg.

The fresh funding will be used for product development, add more services, and marketing.

Steven, founded in 2016 by CEO Jens Saltin and Fredrik Olofsson, is developed by PEI Development AB with the aim to keep track of who is going to pay what, when in time, and reminds those who may have forgotten their debt. The service is provided via a mobile app, which was formally launched at the end of 2018.

Prior to this round, Steven was financd by external investors including Wellstreet, Johan Andersson, Daniel Pilotti, Sebastian Siemiatkowski, Robert Andreen and Johan Edenström.
