Tanso to raise €1.6 million in a pre-seed funding round led by UVC Partners.

Tanso, a Munich, Germany-based SAAS startup developing an end-to-end sustainability data management software to industrial companies, announced completing a pre-seed funding round of €1.6 million ($1.9M).

The money was raised from investors led by UVC Partners, with participation from Picus Capital, Possible Ventures, as well as angels including Lukas Brosseder and Oliver Manojlovic.

Tanso, founded in 2021 by Gyri Reiersen, Lorenz Hetzel, Till Wiechmann and CEO Fabian Sinn,  is developing a software solution used to support sustainability reporting for industrial manufacturers, via a data management system that can automate data capture and sustainability reporting geared towards the specific needs of the sector, enabling industrial companies to actively leverage their data in taking positive climate action and creating real business value. The product, which is yet to be launched (expected in 2022), aims at making sustainability accounting as integrated, transparent and verifiable as financial accounting.
