TicketCo, a Bergen, Norway-based company providing a SAAS event management tool, announced getting a NOK 2.5M ($310k) investment capital infusion.

The money comes from Troll Ventures, backed by Roy Andre Tollefsen, a local entrepreneur who had sold his company, Trollweb, to Visma, at the beginning of 2017.

The transaction values the company at NOK 90M ($11M), 70% higher than the one from the beginning of 2017, when TicketCo secured NOK 13M ($1.6M) from investors including Tripod Capital Collective, FFV, Herman Miele or Henrik Lie-Nielsen.

TicketCo, founded in 2013 by Kåre Bottolfsen, Carl-Erik Michalsen Moberg and Hogne Sandanger, has developed an online event platform for event organizers, with features such as white labelling, selling tickets and analytics.

The company works with more than 2000 event organisers, and operates from 2 legal entities in Norway which totalled about NOK 20M ($2.5M) in revenues in 2016.
