Tinybird raised a $3 million seed round led by Crane.vc and multiple business angels.
Tinybird, a Madrid, Spain-based SAAS startup, announced completing a $3 million capital funding round.
The money was raised from investors ld by the British VC Crane Venture Partners (crane.vc) joined by multiple angel investors including Nat Friedman (GitHub CEO), Nicholas Dessaigne (Algolia co-founder), Guillermo Rauch (Vercel CEO), Jason Warner (GitHub CTO), Adam Gross (former Heroku CEO), Stijn Christiaens (co-founder and CTO of Collibra), Matias Woloski (co-founder and CTO of Auth0) and Carsten Thoma (Hybris co-founder).
Tinybird, founded in 2019 by CEO Jorge Gomez Sancha, Javi Santana, Javier Medina and Raul Ochoa, developed a platform for the development of analytics APIs deployed very fast. The product offers SQL-based API endpoints that help data teams deliver real-time answers, with features including built-in integration, database connection, etc. It also provides integration over Snowflake, Apache Kafka, MySQL, Google BigQuery, etc.
