Tonsser secured DKK 41M.

Tonsser, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company working for providing a social network for football players, secured DKK 41M ($6.2M) in capital investment.

The backing was provided by investment companies from Denmark - Seed Capital, France - Alven Capital and Germany - Wellington Partners. The new capital will be used to develop further the company's product.

Tonsser was founded in 2014 by Peter Holm, Simon Hjære and the football player Jeppe Curth, with the aim to provide a social media platform for football players, where players of all levels can create a profile that gives an overview of achievements and careers. The company has 35 employees and its service app has 830,000 registered football players.
