TravelPerk secured $44 million in series C funding.

TravelPerk, a Barcelona, Spain-based provider of SAAS for the travel industry, announced the completion of  $44 million in series C investment.

The money was provided by range of Euorpean and American investors, including Kinnevik, Yuri Milner, Tom Stafford, Felix Capital, Target Global, Spark Capital, LocalGlobe, Sunstone and Amplo.

The company intends to use the funds to expand into new markets and accelerate its growth.

TravelPerk, founded in 2015 by CEO Avi Meir and Javier Suarez, developed a SaaS based corporate travel platform which allows teams to manage trips from booking to accounting. The company’s platform hosts a large bookable travel inventory, offers the tools and resources to manage trips from booking to accounting into a smart, consumer-standard interface. to compare, book and invoice cars, trains, flights and hotels from a wide range of major providers including Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb – with 24/7 support.
