Trivato raised SEK 1.7M from a pool of US investors to develop two mobile apps

Trivato, which develops two completely different types of applications in parallel, has made their first round of financing in the US and then took even the equivalent of 1.7 million SEK from, among others, Swedish American business angel Joel Wikell.

"We wanted to test our wings and had an event in Florida. We invited business angels and VC companies through LinkedIn. Those who closed the round had decided to invest in any new project, but liked the idea so much that they closed the round in five minutes, "said founder Hjalmar Stahlberg Nordgren.

A few months ago it was revealed that also his sister, Elin Nordegren, who was previously married to golf superstar Tiger Woods, contributed in the SEK 1.7 million.
