trustshare raised a $3.2 million seed round led by Nauta Capital.
trustshare, a London, UK-based software startup developing an escrow infrastructure sold as a service, announced that it raised $3.2 million in seed funding.
The money was raised from investors led by Nauta Capital.
trustshare, founded in 2020 by Joe Harlow and Nick Fulton, developed software tool built on top of existing payment infrastructure, namely a 5 lines of code branded escrow checkout targeting to help marketplaces-focused consumers brands that aim to become transactional. The company handles payments via a buyer dedicated transaction-based account and adds on top identity verification steps, such as KYC and AML checks (Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering) in order to provide a secure business environment.
The product is available in the market and is used by customers including Watchcollecting, Bookabuilder and U.K. trade body FENSA’s Deposit Protection service.
trustshare previously raised $1 million from angel investors including Alex Chesterman.
