Tylko raised €22 million from Pitango Ventures and Evli Growth Partners.

Tylko, a Warsawa, Poland-based D2C furniture company, announced completing a €22 million ($26M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Israel-based VC Pitango Ventures and Finland-based VC Evli Growth Partners. Existing investors TDJ Pitango and Experior Venture Fund contributed to the round, as well as andgel investors Brian Walker, former CEO of Hermann Miller, and Mark Williamson, COO of US-based MasterClass.

As part of this investment, Rami Kalish from Pitango Ventures, Mikko Kuitunen from Evli Growth Partners and Brian Walker will join the company’s Supervisory Board.

The proceds will be used for launching in new markets, product portfolio expansion, as well as the development of new materials and supply chain optimisation for sustainability purposes.

Tyloko, founded in 2014 by Benjamin Kuna, Hania Kokczynska, Jacek Majewski, Michal Piasecki and Mikolaj Molenda, is a digital-first furniture maker, with a direct-to-consumer (D2C) and made-to-order approach. The platform provides the opportunity for individually design by the customer from home, based on the principles of parametric design, each item is an individual solution. The company developed tools that automates the manufacturing process for its production partners: a directly scalable process.

The company says that in 2020 it had about 30k customers.

Prior to this round, Tylko raised about €11 million ($12.7M).
