Typeform announced raising Series B of $35 million led by General Atlantic

Typeform, a Barcelona, Spain-based software developer, announced the completion of $35 million in series B investment round.

The funding was led by General Atlantic and included participation from Index Ventures, Point Nine, and Connect Ventures, all previous backers. Chris Caulkin of General Atlantic will join the company's board of directors.

The proceeds will be used to expands its tools for developers with more analytics and artificial intelligence features to personalise the experience more.

Typeform, founded in 2012 by Robert Muñoz and David Okuniev, develops and sells SAAS for online form building and online surveys. The company works on a freemium model and claims to have around 30k customers.

Other notable investors in Typeform include Anthony Casalena, CEO of Squarespace; Javier Olivan, VP of growth at Facebook; and Jay Parikh, Facebook’s VP of engineering.
