Ueno, a Reykjavik, Iceland-based digital agency, announced that it was acquired by Twitter, the US-based social network operator.

Financial details of the deal remained undisclosed. The transaction represents an acq-hire as the Ueno team will be integrated in Twitter's design and research team.

Ueno, founded by Haraldur Thorleifsson, is a digital design agency with offices in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Reykjavik, and has worked for many leading brands in the world, including Dropbox, Slack, Redbull, and Twitter.
