Uizard in a $15 million Series A investment round led by Insight Partners.

Uizard Technologies, a COpenhagen, Denmark-based company working on a framework solution that transforms app sketches into prototypes, announced raising $15 million in series A funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by the Americans from Insight Partners, joined by existing shareholders byFounders, LDV Capital, and av8 Ventures and angel investor Mariano Suarez-Battan, CEO and Co-Founder of Mural.

Uizard Tchnologies, founded in 2017 by Florian van Schreven, Henrik Haugbølle, Ioannis Sintos and CEO Tony Beltramelli, built a software solution that automatically turn design mockups into source code that developers can plug into their backend code. The mockups can be drawn with pen and paper, photographed, and then uploaded to Uizard, which uses machine learning and computer vision to turn them into a basic prototype for almost immediate testing.

The company says it runs around 13k MAU from paying customers including Adidas, Google, Tesla, Slack, Airbus, Deloitte, Apple, Hitachi, ByteDance, Capital One, Airbnb and UiPath.

Uizard previously raised $2.8M in 2019 and $800k in 2018.
