Unkle secures €10M from Mundi Venture, Eurazeo-Innovallianz and Anaxago.
Unkle, a Paris, France-based startup operating an one-stop-shop for selling insurance for real estate, announced completing a €10M ($11.4M) funding round.
The money was raised from investors including Mundi Venture, Eurazeo – Innovallianz and Anaxago.
Unkle, founded in 2019 by Matthieu Luneau, Cédric Baulme and Charles-André Richard, was launched originally as a platform on which tenants can apply for a guarantor when they do not have one. The company later started to sell digital insurance for owners that covers 100% of unpaid bills, as it works in partnership with insurers who cover economic risks and thus acts as an MJA (managing general agent). Unkle is therefore the only point of contact for tenants and owners. The startup checks all the documents in the file to determine if it corresponds to the subscription offers.
Unkle previously raised €1 million in 2019.
