Unloc announced $2.3M in funding from Axel Johnson, Schibsted, Obos and Selvaag

Unloc, an Oslo, Norway-based company operating a mobile application that makes it easy to share physical keys, announced completing a capital investment round totalling NOK 25M ($2.3M).

The funding was backed by new and existing investors including Schibsted, Axel Johnson (through Novax), Obos and Selvaag Invest. The transaction includes a NOK 5M convertible note provided by Obos in 2019.

Following the share issue, the Norwegian startup is valued at just over NOK 156 million ($14M).

Unloc, founded in 2017 as a spinoff from Telenor and led by CEO Kris Riise, developed a mobile app for customers willing to share keys and is used by corporate clients from verticals such as food delivery, home sharing, or logistics.

Prior to this round, Unloc raised about $1.5M.
