Urban Infrastructure Partner raises $15M in capital, adds Møller Mobility Group in its shareholding structure.
Urban Infrastructure Partner AS, an Oslo, Norway-based company managing a mobility platform for urban areas, announced in a press release that it secured NOK 125M ($15M) in capital investment.
The investment round included the majority owner Selvaag Invest and a new investor, the Norwegian car dealer group Møller Mobility Group. Following the funding, Selvaag Invest owns 47%, Møller Mobility Group 20% and the three founders of the company 33%.
Urban Infrastructure Partner AS, founded in 2014 by CEO Axel E. Bentsen, Kristoffer Bøen Henriksen and Trond Gunnar Christensen, developed a full-service solution for financing, delivery, and operation of intelligent infrastructure to create integrated and on-demand mobility solutions for forward-thinking cities.
The solution includes a white label software as a service tool which can be customized for providing mobility options from smart locks, to data analytics, to user-friendly apps. Urban Infrastructure Partner AS also manages city biking sharing services in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Edinburgh.
Prior to this round, Urban Infrastructure Partner added capital investment from Selvaag Invest, the investment arm of Selvaag Bolig ASA, a residential property developer, headquartered in Oslo, Norway.
