Vatis Tech, a Bucharest, Romania-based startup developing a software tool used for transcribing video and audio conversations, announced that it raised €200k ($237k).

The money was raised locally from Romanian investors Sparking Capital and Early Game Ventures, and angel investor Malin Stefanescu.

Vatis Tech, founded in 2020 by CEO Adrian Ispas, developed an online speech recognition platform that transcribes video and audio content. The algorithms are available for European languages including Romanian, French, Italian, German, Dutch, or Polish and has been tested out in industries and verticals, such as media, finance, technology, or the medical field
