Vev to raise a €5 million seed funding round led by EQT Ventures.

Vev, an Oslo, Norway-based SAAS business based on a visual tool for building web apps, announced completing a €5 million ($6M) seed funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by the Sweden-based VC EQT Ventures, joined by existing shareholders Sagene Tech Ventures and Skyfall Ventures.

Vev, founded in 2017 by CEO Tine Karlsen, Nicolay Thafvelin and Fredrik Evjen Eklis, developed a collaborative visual editor used by professional developers, designers and content creators to build and launch interactive websites and digital content. They have access to a combination of design tools, code, and content editor in the same platform and this way are able to produce visually responsive websites, whose code is generated automatically by Vev.

Vev previously raised $500k in 2018 from the Norwegian investment companies Sagene Tech Ventures, Skyfall Ventures and NewMark Capital.
