Visma buys up E-identitet, becomes a leader in authentication, login and signing

Visma announced the purchasing of Swedish E-identitet AB. The deal, which has the financial details undisclsoed, reinforcesVisma's position of cloud-based authentication, login and signing solutions.

Visma Consulting, founded in Oslo in 2000 and led by CEO Richard Börjesson, provides services and solutions in authentication, federation, login and signing, and today has volumes of several million transactions a month in these services.

e-Identitet will act as an independent company within the Visma Group under the Custom Solutions division and maintain its current brand.
