Waterland acquires 6 Nordic live entertainment companies and merges them as All Things Live.
Waterland Private Equity, a Dutch investment firm, announced that it has acquired six leading Scandinavian promoters and agencies and merged them under a new company, All Things Live, aimed to become a new independent market leader in Nordic live entertainment.
Financial details of the deal setup were not disclosed. Waterland will be the majority shareholder of the new entity.
All Things Live will combine the operations of ICO Concerts and ICO Management and Touring (Denmark), Friction and Atomic Soul Booking (Norway) and Blixten & Co and Maloney Concerts (Sweden) and will get to an annual revenue of €85 million supported by around 70 employees across the three countries.
In total, All Things Live will represent 140 Nordic artists on exclusive contracts and promote almost 3,000 local and international events, selling more than a million tickets a year. As an independent player with strong local expertise in the Nordics, All Things Live will offer a range of activities across the live entertainment value chain including agency services, promotion and production.
The partnership will cover the full spectrum from local Norwegian acts over Swedish musical productions and Danish stand-up events to stadium concerts with international artists such as The Rolling Stones, Green Day and Eminem. All Things Live will represent 140 local artists on exclusive contracts, promote almost 3,000 local and international events with more than 1 million tickets sold per year and continue to grow its current portfolio of 15 partnerships with large corporate clients.
