Willa Pay announced securing $3 million fro EQT Ventures, Nordic Makers and angel investors.

Willa Pay, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup providing a mobile service for freelancers, announced that it completed a $3 million capital investment round.

The money was provided by a range of Nordic investors, including EQT Ventures, Nordic Makers, Mattias Ljungman, Johan Lorenzen and Michael Hansen.

Willa, founded in 2019 by CEO Kristofer Sommestad, Stefan Pettersson and Peter Blom, are working for launching a service called Willa Pay, aimed to provide freelancers help with paperwork related to their invoicing. The company's service is in private beta, and expected to be made publicly available by Q3 2020.
