Workaround raises SEK 7M in angel investment, looks to expand its real-estate-as-a-service local business.

Workaround, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup providing real estate as a service solutions for the office market, secured SEK 7M ($870k) in angel investment.

The transaction valued the company at SEK 53M ($6.6M) and the money will be used to expand the business operations and improve the digital product of the company.

Workaround was founded in 2015 by former management consultants Andreas Broryd (CEO) and Rikard Hegelund, with the aim to provide short term rental services for offices.

The company had SEK 13M ($1.6M) in turnover in 2017 and is backed by Anders Böös and Stronghold Invest, which funded the company in 2016.
