Worksome raises DKK 3.5M for an online platform for freelancers.

Worksome, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based startup providing a platform for freelancers has raised DKK 3.5M ($530k) in investment funding. The money comes from 4 local business angel investors, including Gorm Rasmussen and Anders Fauerskov, and will be used to further develop the company's underlying technology.

Worksome, founded in 2016 by Mathias Linnemann, has developed a platform that makes it easy for companies to find and hire highly skilled onsite freelance professionals. Via their product, the companies can hire those professionals on an hourly or project basis without intermediaries. By the end of 2017, Worksome aims to have 5000 users.
