XU Group to raise funding from German angel investors.
XU Group, a Berlin, Germany-based startup building a digital education platform, announced that it secured a capital funding round.
The money was raised from a range of angel investors from Germany, including Martin Hintze, Gregor Böhm and Karl-Georg Altenburg. Proceeds will be used to make the company's product available for consumers.
XU Group, founded in 2016 by a former EBS professor, Christopher Jahns, together with Nicole Gaiziunas, has the mission to develop cross-sector solutions for the digital transformation of the economy, its employees and private individuals. The company developed a website providing acess to companies and their employees, as well as to private individuals, to interactive learning formats, and offer the opportunity to expand their digital skills or to create completely new ones. Skills can also be learned from home using online courses on the XUcation platform.
