ZenRobotics Ltd., a Helsinki, Finland-based manufacturer of robotic recycling tech, announced it is raising €13 million ($17 million).

The money was provided by a range of investors including Invus, an international equity investor with evergreen capital and Lifeline Ventures, a Finnish technology accelerator. The funding allows ZenRobotics to grow and to commercialize its ZenRobotics Recycler product on a global scale.

ZenRobotics Ltd. brings high technology to recycling. The company's main product is ZenRobotics Recycler, an artificial intelligence controlled robotic recycling system, which reclaims valuable raw materials. The ZRR system currently reclaims valuable raw materials from construction and demolition waste, with industrial robots controlled by artificial intelligence.

The system is marketed globally, through a reseller network in 49 countries. ZenRobotics, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, is a privately held company owned by its founders, management, key personnel, and investors.
