Accenture acquired Swedish CRM company, Kaplan
Kaplan, a Stockholm Sweden-based provider of data-driven customer relationship management services, announced that it was acquired by Accenture, the American consulting company.
The financial specifics remained undisclosed, and the deal strengthens Accenture Interactive’s ability to provide customers with end-to-end experience transformation services in the Nordics.
The Nordics is a strategic growth region for Accenture Interactive - the company recently announced the appointment of Adam Kerj as its chief creative officer of the Nordics and the acquisition of Swedish creative agency, The World Loves.
Kaplan, founded in 1997 by Marianne Kaplan and co-led by her son Johan Nordenström and by Linda Hellström, is a CRM company, operating marketing technology platforms and touchpoints, from marketing automation processes and customer relationship communications, to advanced analytics and strategic frameworks.
The company works with clients including Circle K Europe, Com Hem, SJ, Svenska Spel, and TV2 Denmark and has 80 employees in offices from Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo. The company was profitable at a turnover of SEK 89.4M ($10M) recorded in the last fiscal year.
